Both Glooko® and diasend® are platforms that allow healthcare providers and patients to upload data from diabetes devices and review the uploaded data.
It is important to be aware of the differences between them:
1. Assignment process
In diasend®, it is possible to review the uploaded data without assigning it to any patient.
In Glooko®, it is required to assign the upload to a patient to be able to review the data. Note that the uploads appear in the "Assign devices" tab and that you have 24 hours to assign the upload or to unassign it. After a device disappears from the Assign devices tab, it can no longer be assigned or unassigned. You can read more about this on this article.
2. Serial number
In diasend® it is possible to manually add or remove a serial number from a patient's profile.
In Glooko® it is not possible to manually add or remove a serial number from a patient's profile. It is possible to see the serial numbers of the devices uploaded to that patient's account, but the only way those serial numbers will appear there is because there was a previous upload from it to the patients account.
3. Reports
There are also some differences in the reports. If you want to see the Glooko reports in detail, please find our Glooko® Report Reference Guide here.
