In diasend® it is possible to activate a feature that will require you to use a double authentication when logging in to a clinic account*. Using a double authentication or, 2FA (two-factor authentication), means that in addition to using your regular username and password, you are required to use a second, temporary authentication code provided to you from a different source. The two-factor authentication guarantees a higher level of security in order to make sure that you are the only one accessing your diasend® account, even if someone else has access to your password.
We offer two 2FA methods:
- An app on a smartphone, meaning that the second, temporary authentication code will be provided to you by a mobile app. You will need to have access to this smartphone to be able to log in to diasend®.
- E-mail, meaning that you will receive the second, temporary authentication code by e-mail. You will need to have a personal e-mail address since one address can be associated with only one diasend® account.
Please read more about the specific 2FA options by clicking on the links below. There you will find instructions on how to set up and use the respective 2FA solution.
