Depending on what type of account the patient has, the deletion of the account differs slightly.
1. In-clinic registered patient account:
If the patient has an account created by you as a health care provider through the clinic account, it will appear without a house in from of it in the patient list. Follow these steps in order to delete such an account/profile:
- Click on the name of the patient in the patient list.
- Click on "Patient profile".
- Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click "Delete patient".
- Confirm that you really want to delete the patient profile.
2. Self registered patient account:
If the the patient has a personal account created by themselves, that they have "shared" with the hospital, it will appear with a house in front of it. Only the patient themselves has access to deleting this account. However, you can disconnect it from the patient list, which will break the sharing between the patient's account and your clinic's account. Follow these steps in order to disconnect such an account from the patient list:
- Click on the name of the patient in the patient list.
- Click on "Patient profile".
- Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click "Disconnect patient".
- Confirm that you really want to disconnect the patient from your patient list.
